Getupdated Search Engine Optimisation Conference
Last week was an interesting event for all staff that are part of Getupdated Internet Marketing. The whole group got together to exchange ideas and collate information to push the company forward in all aspects from SEO to Customer services. As one of the largest internet marketing companies world wide Getupdated are surpassing all competition and there is no wonder why.
The SEO Team:
At the start of last week the major SEO parts of Getupdated met in Stockholm to discuss our SEO delivery services from On page Methodologies to Social Media.
The meeting was held by the Head’s of SEO from:
- Getupdated
- Just Search
- Migroup
- Media Analys
- E Traffic Jams
The discussion was very useful with the aim of producing the most efficient and productive organic search engine optimization strategies.
Finally
The final get together involved our team of SEO experts, programmers and Search Engineers, you can see from the image above that there is over 50 technicians all thriving on the success of the different parts of Getupdated and pushing towards the company becoming one of the most advanced SEO firms globally.
Personal comments: “It’s amazing how much actually gets done while having a few beers, but in reality how many SEO firms have the ability to have a 50+ team diagnosing, testing and strategising? I’ve never really been a sales man but it’s doesn’t take much brain power when looking for an SEO firm as whether to make the decision to go with a one man band who’s website is no where to be seen, or going with a company who is made up of over 50+ SEO’s from the leading companies within their market, does it?”

Its great to see just how strong the GU group are in terms of SEO knowledge. Great news for the business and even greater for our clients.
The ideas we swapped are going to be useful in providing a better service.
I loved to talk tech with some of the best SEO’s in the world.
What you don’t see in the picture is that the conference was held on a boat. Although this isn’t a bad idea it did mean that everything was rocking up and down all day. Some people were a little sea-sick!
It’s really inspiring to know that all these people are within GU! Not only that all have great skills when it comes to SEO, every single one also where really fun to have a beer with. I’m looking forward to work within this team and I’m already looking forward to the next conference!

Really impressed by the conference and got some great ideas from the talks. I look forward to collaborating with colleagues around the world and delivering a first class seo service.
I found the meeting great for hearing what other views and methods different people from around the world have on SEO. Some good advice was passed around and there became more of a group feeling knowing that we could get in touch with a big group of people for help and to share our advise to make each other better.

I am really impressed by this conference although I didn’t attend it as I joined recently but it makes me realize that I have chosen right company for my career.
By far the coolest kick off ever, meet a lot of talented and interesting people. When is the next one?
It was a great conference! It’s good to know how the other search engine optimisation teams elsewhere work, sharing ideas and hopefully together we can make our clients happier.

The best thing for me was the realisation that Just Search is part of a fantastic global organisation and whilst we’re from different places and backgrounds, we’ve got a shared vision and goal for a bright future. The trip was also a right good laugh!
I found it to be very motivating. Simply looking across the room and realizing the pure talent that we collectively have. I know we are ready for a very strong year…..the only question left is “Shall we do it now?”…..Yes we shall!!

The conference provided us with an excellent opportunity to meet fellow international colleagues and talk SEO face-to-face, personally the highlight for me was the Spa Hotel in Tallinn.
Must have been a really interesting Conference. I can’t wait until the next one to be there.
After joining the company only the week of the kick off it was good to get know both my work colleagues that i would be working with on a daily basis and also the larger community of getupdated. During the kick off it became clear straight away that i had joined a company going places and it is certainly an exciting future ahead.
Although I didn’t attend the conference, it looked like everybody had a great time and lots of laughs!

The kick off was fabulous!!! It was great to meet all the people that I have been talking on the phone with for the last year!!!! It was definitely an awesome experience meeting all the kick-ass people within the company, exchanging ideas and just feeling the creative juices flow. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.
Good times at the conference, it was especially fun for us new guys to meet and greet all the grizzled ‘old’ veterans.
